Advanced Search About Us Company Profile Teo Lian Yew (TLY) Enterprise specializes in health tea and tea leaves products with our production based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our tea production factory (Cao Nguyen Tea Co., Ltd) is in the high mountian of central Vietnam, in Bao Lam Townlet. In 1996, TLY started distributing and exporting high quality tea leaves in both Singapore and overseas markets, in food, phamaceutical, supermarkets and the hotel industries. Our company's distribution head office is in Singapore, with a branch in Malaysia. Our products includes different kinds of health tea and tea leaves ranging from Chinese tea to Black tea, Japanese Green tea, and Bittergourd Tea. All products are produces utilizing either Japanese or Taiwanese technology together with the traditional tea making process of Vietnam. All tea products produced by our company and hand picked and only two tender leaves are plucked each time as moisture dulls the quality and flavour. By packaging at source, we gaurantee every mouthful of freshness and real leaf flavour - even in a tea bag. A new product, Ice Green Tea, is in the planning stage. It also comes in a tea bag form and all is needed is to add in cold water. And it's ice green tea instantly. Today, one of the largest airlines in the world, Singapore Airlines, is buying our Japanese Green Tea for its Japan routes. Our products was selected as a winner in the "Health Trend Compitition" of SIAL Asia 2001, Singapore. Tea Factory - Cao Nguyen Tea Co. Ltd Cao Nyugen Co. Ltd, is a joint venture between TLY and Mr. Lam Tu Quang, was established in 1993. The Tea factory is situated in the high mountains of central Vietnam, with employment some 150 persons. The tea factory consists of a total of 150 hectares of tea plantation and 5 tea processing facilities situated beside it. This reduces the time in transporting the tea leaves to the facilities for processing, thus ensuring the freshness in the tea leaves. The 5 tea facilities are sub-divided into 4 different categories, each for making the different type of teas that we are currently selling. Current production capacity is about 20 tonnes of processed tea leaves per day. All tea processing equipments were imported from Japan and Taiwan. Experienced tea advisors from both countries were sent to Vietnam to share their tea making experience and impart their knowledge to Cao Nguyen. In turn, Cao Nguyen supplies them with the processed teas to meet their demands. Cao Nyugen had patented its utility solution method for manufacturing Bittergourd Tea (Patent No. HI0185) in Vietnam.
